In searching for support in the wonderful, yet challenging task of truly uniting across cultures, my husband and I have often felt like pioneers trudging across a vast, wide-open prairie. Though rapid globalization increases the stakes of effective cross-cultural skills, much seems left unsaid – especially by Christians.
Additionally, intercultural marriage is often lumped in the same category as interfaith marriage. However, marrying across faithlines can be significantly different than marrying across cultural lines. While respecting the commitment of those in interfaith marriages to overcome these differences, this network directs its focus specifically for those who find unity that comes from common faith in Christ.
Thus, this page seeks to provide a variety of resources and networks (both faith-based and secular) for Christians who seek to live out Christ’s call to “live at peace with all men” by crossing the cultural boundaries of parenting, marriage, church, and life.
